David Culp Obituary

David Alan Culp, 57, of North Vernon, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at his residence.

Born August 4, 1964, in Seymour, he was the son of the late Charles Edwin Culp and Patricia Ann Tilley Culp.

David was a 1982 graduate of Columbus North High School and had previously worked for Sylvania, AISIN, and Dickson’s Christian Books, all in Seymour. He was a member of the Naturalist Class in North Vernon. David enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, being outdoors, dogs, and riding 4-wheelers.

He is survived by his son, Nathan (Jill) Culp of Fort Wayne; brother, Keith Culp of North Vernon; grandchildren, Jaxon Culp, Grace Culp, and Sawyer Culp, all of Fort Wayne; and nephew, Chris Culp of Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life for David will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Rudicel Family Event Center, 408 South State Street, North Vernon. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.

Memorials may be made in honor of David through the funeral home to Muscatatuck-Master Naturalist Class.

In compliance with CDC COVID-19 guidelines, only 25 people will be allowed in the Rudicel Family Event Center at a time. Masks are mandatory. We thank our families for their continued cooperation during these difficult times as we strive to help keep our community safe.
