David James Gadd

David James Gadd, 54, of Holton, passed away at 8:37 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville.

Born June 18, 1969, in Seymour, he was the son of Daniel and Karen (Ryker) Gadd.

David graduated from Jennings County High School in 1987. He worked as a welder at Martinrea in North Vernon for two years and had previously work in shipping and receiving at Lowes Distribution in North Vernon for sixteen years. David enjoyed going fishing.

He is survived by his parents; his brother, Daniel Joseph (Heather) Gadd of North Vernon; his nephew, Nick Gadd of North Vernon; four stepchildren; and two step grandchildren.

A funeral service for David will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be held in Vernon Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made in David’s honor through the funeral home to the American Heart Association.
