David Randall McIntosh

David Randall McIntosh, 69, of Paris Crossing, passed away at 7:21 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis.

Born June 4, 1951, in Paris Crossing, he was the son of the late Willie and Josie McIntosh. He married Sandy (Ramp) McIntosh on August 22, 1996 in Tennessee; she survives.

David served in the U.S. Army in 1970 and worked in quality control for Cummins Engine Company in Columbus for fifty years. He loved his pets and enjoyed fishing, welding, tinkering, antiques, yard sales, and car shows.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy McIntosh of Paris Crossing; children, Courtney (Jerry) Dupuis and Erin (Greg) Sitterding-Vanwinkle, both of Seymour; siblings, Wanda Sullivan and Edna Rockey, both of North Vernon, Ileen Wetzel and Judy Baker, both of Seymour, Eugene (Joyce) McIntosh and Steve (Gail) McIntosh, both of Paris Crossing, and Curt (Karen) McIntosh of Nashville; and grandchildren, Tristan (Brittani) Sitterding of Franklin, Shelby (Sean) Sitterding of Paris Crossing, and Braydn McIntosh, Quinnlyn Burgmeier, Zachary Vanwinkle, McKenzy Vanwinkle, Matthew Dupuis, and Trinity Dupuis, all of Seymour.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Birdie Adams, Henrietta Mettler, Fran Bratcher, Patricia Kramer, and Jack McIntosh.

A funeral service for David will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
