Dawn Marie Laman, 55, of North Vernon, passed away at 9:35 p.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021, at her residence.
Born February 19, 1966, in Chandler, Arizona, she was the daughter of Noah and Mary Ann (Mick) Laman.
Dawn was a 1984 graduate of Gwinn High School in Gwinn, Michigan, and worked in the clothing and deli departments for Wal-Mart in North Vernon for two years. She had previously worked for Lowes Distribution Center in North Vernon for 17 years. Dawn was a member of the Moose Lodge in North Vernon and enjoyed listening to music, interior design, painting, drawing, and most of all, spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Cody (Emily) Kirk and Michael Kirk, both of North Vernon; parents, Noah and Mary Laman of North Vernon; fiancé, David Stahl, of North Vernon; brother, Troy (Lori) Laman of North Vernon; and grandchildren, Seth Kirk, Gannon Kirk, and Brinley Kirk, all of North Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021, at the Rudicel Family Event Center in North Vernon from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a closing prayer at 7:00 p.m. by the Rev. Don Morris.
Memorials may be made in honor of Dawn through the funeral home to Schneck Hospice Foundation.
