Dawn Terry-Jones Obituary
Dawn Marie Terry-Jones, 42, of Scottsburg, passed away on July 20, 2021, at 1:20 p.m.
Born November 17, 1978, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter Kenneth Terry and Cathy (Reynolds) Hardwick. She married Tiffany Slaughter-Terry in May of 2021 at Muscatatuck Park in North Vernon; she survives.
Dawn graduated from Jennings County High School in 1997. She owned and operated Mind & Body in Louisville, Kentucky from 2015-2021. She enjoyed canoeing, kayaking, and fishing.
She is survived by her wife; daughter, Ashley Jones of Hayden; mother and stepfather, Cathy and Mike Hardwick of North Vernon; sisters, Tina (Randy) Ruddick of Butlerville and Melissa (John) Whitehead, Toni (Doug) Lynch, Amy (Scott) Jump, and Rae Lynn (Travis) Blair, all of North Vernon; and grandchildren, Aydin and Emera Jones, both of Hayden.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A celebration of life for Dawn will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
