Deborah Kay “Debbie” Long, 64, of North Vernon, passed away at 8:26 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Seymour Crossing in Seymour.
Born August 10, 1960, at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Beulah (Prater) Ritchie.
Debbie was a graduate of Jennings County High School in 1978 and received her associate degree. She was a phlebotomist and owned and operated Trading Faces Photography. Debbie was a member of the First Baptist Church in North Vernon. She enjoyed being at the pool or a beach. Debbie loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Rana (Isaiah) Wilds of North Vernon; brother, Alan Ritchie of North Vernon; sisters, Vicki (Von) McGuire of Versailles, Barbara Adams of North Vernon, Dee Dee Warren of Paris Crossing and Rozanna (Donald) Neely of Olive Branch, Mississippi; sister-in-law, Joyce Ritchie of North Vernon; and grandchildren, Jace Cole, Ariyah Cole and Brinley Wilds, all of North Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Dana “Nikki” Long.
The funeral service for Debbie will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Braden Adams officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.
Memorials in honor of Debbie may be made through the funeral home for expenses.
