Debra Jean (Barnes) Farris

Debra Jean Farris, 61, of North Vernon passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in North Vernon.

Born August 13, 1956 in Jennings County, Ms. Farris was the daughter of the late Doyle and Norma Jean Mousa Barnes.

Mrs. Farris worked at Madison State Hospital in Madison and had previously worked for the former Muscatatuck State Developmental Center in Butlerville. She was the former Past Area President of North Vernon Eagles Lodge. Mrs. Farris enjoyed playing cards and bingo.

She is survived by her son, Jason E. Farris of Commiskey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sons, Clint David and Jeremy Dean Farris.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018, at the Weston Baptist Church in Jennings County with the Rev. Dan Corbin officiating. Family and Friends may call at the Weston Baptist Church on Saturday, March 17, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
