Deloris Sue Everroad, 66, of North Vernon, passed away at 3:34 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2020, at the home of her son.
Born August 22, 1953, in New Castle, she was the daughter of William F. Hartwell Sr. and Nellie Lavone (Iddings) Hartwell.
Deloris was a 1971 graduate of Jennings County High School and worked from 1977 to the present in many roles including her last role in security for Jenn-Acres in North Vernon. She enjoyed hiking, being outside, butterflies, covered bridges, traveling and visiting new places, and she loved watching her grandchildren in their sports activities.
Survivors include her son, William (Becky) Everroad of Greensburg; daughter, Kristinia (Justin) Ramey of North Vernon; brother, Larry (Kim) Hartwell of North Vernon; and grandchildren, William Michael Everroad and Joey Everroad, both of Greensburg, and Lexie Ramey and Hayden Ramey, both of North Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, William F. Hartwell Jr.; and her sister, Linda Nash.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2020, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Father John Myers officiating. Friday. Family and friends may call at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2020. In compliance with CDC COVID-19 guidelines, only 25 people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time. We thank our families for their continued cooperation during these difficult times as we strive to help keep our community safe. Burial will be in the Baldwin Cemetery.
