Dennis Ray Wyman, 71, of North Vernon, passed away at 10:19 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
Born February 23, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of Oren Homer and Elsie Irene (Reece) Wyman. He married Debra Langley on November 24, 2006 in Vernon; she survives.
Dennis served in the U.S. Army and worked as an IT man for Henry Vogt Machine in Louisville, Kentucky and had previously worked for Elmcroft and Flowserve both in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a member of the American Legion in Seymour and enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, hot rods and classic cars.
Surviving with his wife Debra, are daughters, Nicole (Joe) Bullard of North Vernon and Kara (Karl) Wolf of Davenport, Iowa; sister, Nancy Skaggs of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Macy Grace and Mack Joseph Bullard both of North Vernon; nephew, John (Lisa) Skaggs of Hodgenville, Kentucky; great-nephews, Tyler and Andrew Skaggs both of Hodgenville, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2020, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. David Flucke officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral on Thursday. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon with Military graveside rites.
