Derik Dwayne England-Conrad

Derik Dwayne England-Conrad, 31, of North Vernon passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at his residence.

Born September 1, 1988, in Columbus, he was the son of Curtis James and Patricia England Sallee.

Derik was a 2007 graduate of McDowell Adult Ed in Columbus and worked for GT Industries in North Vernon and Projection Welding for one year. He enjoyed reading, watching movies, and hanging out with friends and family.

He is survived by his parents, Patricia (Raymond) Sallee of Scipio and Curtis (Sherri) James of Taylorsville; sisters, Bailey (Lisa) England of Hope and Heather (Lenny) Hodapp of Columbus; brother, Josh Lawson of Idaho; stepbrother, Bradley Sallee of Iowa; and stepsister, Amanda (Derek) Wright of Columbus; step grandparents, David and Sally Sallee of Iowa.

A celebration of life will be conducted from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2020, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.

Memorials may be made in honor of Derik through the funeral home to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
