Diana Lynn (Craddock) Lamb, 74, of Port Orange, Florida formerly of North Vernon, passed away at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Born March 21, 1949, in Hazard, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Daymond and Ruth Agnes (Hammersley) Craddock. She married James Everett Lamb on July 27, 1981, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; he preceded her in death on July 2, 2017.
Diana was a 1967 graduate of North Vernon High School and worked as a bus driver for Jennings County School Corporation, and a property manager for OVO in Madison. She was also a hairdresser. Once Diana retired, she moved to a place she loved, Port Orange, Florida on Seabird Island. Diana was a member of North Vernon Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, and spending time with her family and her friends in Port Orange, Florida.
Survivors include her daughters, Kelly (Arthur) Nolan and Tracie (Craig Horn) Walp, both of North Vernon and Dawn (Matt) Bell of Commiskey; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and her longtime friend, Diane Ellison of Scipio.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her brother, John M. Craddock.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service with the Rev. Jim Terry officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Vernon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
