Donald Eugene "Don" Mollenhoff

Donald Eugene “Don” Mollenhoff, 59, of Commiskey, passed away at 4:47 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2024, at his residence.

Born August 30, 1965, of Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Don Eugene Washington Sr. and Edna May Sage.

Don worked as a mechanic for Mac Trucking in Seymour for 25 years and had previously worked for Golden Foundry in Columbus for 11 years. He enjoyed being a mechanic and 4x4 Trucks.

Survivors include his brothers, James M. Mollenhoff of North Vernon, Asa (Peggy) Williams of Columbus and Robert (Billie Jean) Williams of Seymour; sisters, Robin (Tim) Huckstep of Mechanicsville, Virginia, Sheila (Ken) Godbey of Quinton, Virginia; Edna L. Williams of North Vernon; stepsister, Tina (Robert) Klakamp of Seymour; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Larry Jones.

A funeral for Don will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Connie Barr officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Lick Branch Cemetery in Jefferson County.

Memorials may be made in honor of Don through the funeral home to Riley Hospital for Children.
