Donneil Sleets

Donneil Sleets, 49, of Columbus, passed away at 4:50 a.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus.

Born October 17, 1971 in Shelby County, he was the son of Donald E. and Juanita (Carter) Shelby.

Donneil enjoyed group activities, watching basketball, being outdoors and taking rides, trains, and school buses. He enjoyed food, especially, pizza, burgers, and fries.

He is survived by his parents; one brother; one sister; his guardian, Lori Bland of Columbus, and his ResCare Family.

A funeral service for Donneil will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Vernon Cemetery.
