Doris Ann Riffel

Doris Ann Riffel, 50, of North Vernon passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at her residence.

Born January 3, 1968, Ms. Riffel was the daughter of Effie Arneta Petro and the late Maurice Jerry Riffel.

Ms. Riffel was a homemaker and a member of the Church of the Firstborn in Martinsville. She enjoyed painting and keeping house.

She is survived by her son, Nathan (Joanna Weaver) Simpson of Martinsville; daughter, Amanda (Robert Campbell) Simpson of Martinsville; mother, Effie Petro of Seymour; brothers, Gene (Janet) Riffel and Daniel (Peggy) Riffel both of North Vernon, Matthew Luke ( Mary Ann) Riffel of Martinsville, and Charles (Kristy) Petro of Seymour; sisters, Fran (Dexter) Clem and Edith (Bill) Sexton both of North Vernon and Ealanna Cardenze of Martinsville; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Lakota and Haley Campbell, Jaindan, Anthony, and Kelsi Simpson, Zhakiarah and Zander Price all of Martinsville.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A funeral service for Ms. Riffel will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Family and Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2018, in the Schultz Cemetery in Martinsville.
