Dorothy Little, 83, of Commiskey, passed away at 6:40 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
Born July 1, 1935, in Confluence, Leslie County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Pleasant and Anna Louise (Feltner) Huff. She married Lester Little Sr., on August 4, 1952, in Scottsburg; he preceded her in death on March 16, 1999.
Mrs. Little worked as a stocker-clerk at Wal-Mart in Seymour for three years and was a homemaker and housewife. She was a member of United Christian Church in Paris Crossing.
Survivors include a son, Lester (Viola) Little, Jr. of Commiskey; daughters, Martha Ann (Leslie) Covey of Paris Crossing, Barbara Jean (Sherman) Decker of Seymour and Betty Sue (Don) Pearson of Lovett; brother, Phil (Karen) Huff of Georgia; sisters, Paralee (Ken) Martin of Wooster, Ohio and Marie (Ronald) Allen of Ary, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Dorothy Kay Little; brothers, Marion, Taylor, Lewis, Doug and John Huff; sisters, Orleana Flener and Anna Mae Assman.
A funeral service for Mrs. Little will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Rev. Damon Marling officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will be in the Coffee Creek Christian Cemetery in Paris Crossing.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Untied Christian Church or American Cancer Society.
