Edward “Eddie” Bruce Land, 62, of North Vernon, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021, at his residence.
Born May 13, 1959, in Alaway, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Elizabeth Land.
Eddie worked helping the survivors of 9/11, for River Rescue Delaware Bay in New Jersey, and had owned a seal coating business in New Jersey. He enjoyed telling stories, rock hunting, making furniture, fishing, and camping.
He is survived by his sons, Justin (Chasity Perry) Jarrell and Joshua (Casey) Jarrell, both of North Vernon; daughter, Jessica (Natasha) Jarrell of Rockville; companion, Tracy Jarrell of North Vernon; brother, Robert (Jackie) Land of Midwest, Oklahoma; sisters, Margaret Carr, Lorine Ellerbrook, and Deborah (Chris) Kolhere, all of Salem, New Jersey, and Linda Leal of Midwest, Oklahoma; and grandson, Dakoda Bland of North Vernon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; two sisters; and a nephew.
Family and friends may call at the Muscatatuck Dining Hall in North Vernon on Friday, March 5, 2021, after 4:00 p.m. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
Memorials may be made in honor of Eddie through the funeral home to help with expenses.
