Ella Haskell Tucker, 35, of Butlerville, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021, in North Vernon.
Born June 7, 1986, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Mary Cartwright Ezzo and the late James Edgar “Bo” Bishop. She married Brian Tucker on July 20, 2012, in Vernon; he survives.
Ella was a 2004 graduate of Jennings County High School and received her bachelor’s in psychology from Indiana University. She worked as a collaborative care supervisor for the Department of Child Services. Ella was president in the Psychology Club at I.U.P.U.C., captain of the Soccer Club at Jennings County High School. Ella was a soccer coach for Jennings County Middle School and softball coach for North Vernon Parks and Recreation. Ella and Brian enjoyed doing a podcast “Tales from the Dumpster Fire.” She enjoyed playing softball, animals, and traveling. Ella loved hanging out and spoiling her nieces and nephews.
Surviving with her husband Brian, is her mother, Mary (Buzzard Robertson) Ezzo of North Vernon; sisters, Samantha Bishop Mull and Addee (Dustin) Bishop Bailey, both of North Vernon; father-in-law, Richard Tucker of New Albany; nieces and nephews, Natalie Owens, Bradin Owens, Tatum Mull, Kendrick Mull, and Madelyn “Mad Dog” Bailey, all of North Vernon; and sisters-in-law, Jenna Tucker of Portland, OR, Tisha Terry of Columbus and Tara (Matt) Henry of North Vernon.
She was preceded in death by her father, and brother, Jami Cumberworth.
A closing prayer will be at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
