Ellen Dione Stiver

Ellen Dione Stiver, 36, of Elizabethtown, passed away at 6:48 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at her residence.

Born September 5, 1984, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Clarence Harry and Brenda (Runyan) Stiver.

Ellen worked as a cashier for Sam’s Club in Columbus and enjoyed being on her phone, electronics, and tech, grilling out, and playing with her great nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her brothers, Harry (Pebblia) Fluharty II and Timothy Fluharty, both of Elizabethtown, Steven Fluharty of Brown County, and Balis (Jennifer) Stiver of Lafayette; sisters, Lois (Marvin) Scrogham of Flat Rock and Deanna (Danny) Large of Scipio; and momma, Lisa Clymer of North Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; nephews, Jacob Gordon and Casey Ash; and niece, McKenzie Stiver.

A celebration of life will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Burial will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021, in the Hillcrest Cemetery in North Vernon.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Ellen for expenses.
