Emma Kathryn Kiefer

Emma Kathryn Kiefer, 34, of Seymour, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021, in Jefferson County.

Born January 17, 1987, in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of William “Bill” G. Kiefer and the late Victoria Lynn Massie Kiefer.

Emma was a construction worker and enjoyed Facebook and spending time with her kids.

She is survived by her father, William “Bill” Kiefer of Scipio; sons, Austin Kiefer and Jayce Hardin, both of Seymour, and Jonny Kiefer of Louisville, Kentucky; daughter, Zoey Kiefer of Seymour; brother, Martin Kiefer of Pekin; grandparents, William and Linda Kiefer of Louisville, Kentucky; aunt, Elizabeth Kiefer of Louisville, Kentucky; and uncle, Jimmie Massie of Louisville, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her mother and her grandmother, Dona Joy.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Memorials may be made in honor of Emma through the funeral home for expenses.
