Evelyn (Patrick) Patton

Evelyn Patton, 63, of Holton, passed away at 2:51 a.m. on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Indiana.

Born September 8, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Chester Patrick and Emma (Moore) Miller. She married James Patton on October 6, 2006, in Holton; he survives.

Evelyn was a homemaker and enjoyed coloring, playing games on her phone, writing, puzzle books, making pillows, going to yard sales. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving with her husband, James; are sons, Billy (Shannon) Fields, of Indianapolis, Roy (Tonya) Fields of Madison, Zachary Patton of Indianapolis and Travis (Desiree) Patton on Camby; brothers, Dwane (Vickie) Patrick of Holton, sisters, Elaine (Sam) Beeman of North Vernon and Ena (Roy) Barrett of Holton; brothers-in-law, Willie Patton, Eugene (Lynn) Curtis and Jimmie (Rosemary) Harmon all of Columbia, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Starr Tweedy of Columbia, Kentucky; sixteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; ex-husband, Roy Dale Fields; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death in by Emma Miller, Chester Patrick, Harold “Cuz” Cunningham and Dewey Miller.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, January 24, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday. Burial will be in the Holton West Cemetery in Holton, Indiana.

Memorials may be made in honor of Evelyn through the funeral home for expenses.
