Gail Ann Misner-Hampton, 58, of Indianapolis, passed away at 1:19 p.m. on Friday, Oct 6, 2023, at her residence.
Born April 6, 1965, in Jennings County, she was the daughter of Paul and Daisy (Shatto) Misner. She married Darren Hampton; he survives.
Gail enjoyed playing with her grandchildren, praying, traveling, and baking. She loved spending time with family and loved God. Gail was a former member of the North Vernon Church of the Nazarene in North Vernon and an assistant CPA for Debra Schill.
She is survived by her husband, Darren of Indianapolis; sons, Labraun Hampton of Bloomington, Jaaden Hampton of Indianapolis, and William Bentley of Indianapolis; daughters, Alexandra Jefferson, Michell Bentley, Mariah Misner-Hampton, and Allie Eldridge, all of Indianapolis; sisters, Paula Gregory of Indianapolis, Veda McKean, and Rebecca Olds, both of Seymour; brother-in laws, Frederick (Tamonica) Hampton, Rodney Hampton, Vincent Hampton, Antone Boronner and Raymond Gregory; grandchildren, Daisy, and August Bentley; mother-in law, Josephine Kinaman; father-in law, Roosevelt Hampton, and she is also survived by Jim and Brandi Miller, Kate Shatto Owens, and an abundance of loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Darian Hampton.
The funeral for Gail will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2023, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Pastor David Schill officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral on Friday. Burial will be at the Hayden Cemetery in Hayden, IN.
Memorials may be made in honor of Gail through the funeral home for expenses.
