Obituary
George Louis Bolden Jr., 55, of North Vernon, passed away at 11:55 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at the home of his fiancé.
Born September 12, 1967, in Columbus, he was the son of the late George Louis Bolden Sr. and Paula May (Cook) Bolden.
George was a 1987 graduate of Jennings County High School. He worked on the assembly line for Arvin Pilot for ten years. George was a member of 2nd United Methodist Church in North Vernon. He enjoyed fishing, hunting ginseng and mushrooms, and being outdoors. George was a former Jennings County Football Player.
He is survived by his brother, Robert Bolden of North Vernon; sisters, Betty Bolden and Terri Bolden, both of North Vernon and fiancé, Tara McCreery of North Vernon.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation for George will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.
Memorials may be made in honor of George through the funeral home for expenses.
