Georgie Sue Rifner

Georgie Sue Rifner, 80, of Seymour, passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at 12:08 a.m.

Born October 23, 1943, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Vollie Rifner Jr. and Dorothy (Leonard) Rifner.

Georgie loved to listen to music, go shopping, watch cartoons, and go out to eat.

She is survived by her brothers, Phil Rifner of Washington and Vollie R. Rifner of Tampa, Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Fred Rifner and Jerry Rifner.

A celebration of life for Georgie will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Elsner Hall of the ETC building, located at 1200 West O&M Avenue, North Vernon, IN, 47265. A private burial will be held at Crown Hill Cemetery.
