Gregory Vernon Large was born on November 7, 1950, in Columbus Indiana to Vernon Jacob Large and Betty Alene King.
He lived his entire life quietly in North Vernon. Though he only attended school through the 5th grade, he was a lifelong student who never stopped learning and studying, particularly electronics, science and medicine. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He is survived by his sister, Brenda Kay (Large) LeMaster, nieces Robin LeMaster and Rhea Schomaker, nephew Robert LeMaster III, plus 6 great-nieces and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by both parents, and a brother Mark Leon Large.
He was laid to rest Sunday April 26 in the Vernon Cemetery, with a small graveside service attended by family and friends.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
