James Darren Johnson

James Darren Johnson, 55, of Lawrenceburg, passed away at 12:39 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Bethesda Hospital North in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Born November 26, 1968, in Columbus, he was the son of Carolyn (Hundley) Johnson and the late Fred Euler Johnson.

James was a 1987 graduate of Columbus East High School and a 1989 electronics graduate of Ivy Tech College, both in Columbus. He worked for 30 years for LSI Industries in Blue Ash, Ohio in scheduling and IT. James enjoyed hiking, nature, animals, camping, computers, his cat named puppy and playing jokes on friends.

Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Johnson of Columbus; and brother, Jeff (Mary) Johnson of Ekron, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his father and his lifelong companion, Janet Darlene Dean

In keeping with his and his family’s wishes, cremation is planned and no service to be held at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
