James Wesley Hadley

James Wesley Hadley, 62, of North Vernon, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Margaret Mary Health Hospital in Batesville.

Born August 10, 1958, in Seymour, he was the son of the late Melvin and Alice (Robbins) Hadley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, in 2017.

James was a truck driver for Days Express Trucking for 20 years. He enjoyed fishing and dogs.

He is survived by his daughters, Natalie (David Gilpin) Craft of North Vernon, Kathy Quade of Bargersville, and Lisa (Greg) Davis of Brownstown; brothers, Jeffery Hadley of Greensburg, Tim (Carol) Hadley of North Vernon, and Edward (Angela) Hadley of Shelbyville; twelve grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Baldwin Cemetery in Vernon with the Rev. Warren Lucas officiating.
