James Allen Spaulding

James Allen Spaulding, 59, of North Vernon, passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at his residence.

Born January 27, 1965, in Marion County, he was the son of the late Wayne Spaulding and Cora Lee Evans. He married Tammy Perry on November 27, 1997, in Bluffton; she survives.

James worked maintenance for McDonalds in Seymour for one year, was a handyman for nine years, and had previously worked for Decatur Plastics in North Vernon and Schneider Tire in Bluffton. He enjoyed watching movies and listening to music.

Survivors in his wife, Tammy of Bluffton; son, Edward Spaulding of North Vernon; and siblings, Robert, Bobby, Cindy, Brenda, Robin, Tom, Paul, and Diana.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with his and his family’s wishes, cremation is planned with no services to be held at this time. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home was entrusted with care of these arrangements.

Memorials in honor of James may be sent through the funeral home to the Ronald McDonald House.
