Jamie Lea Reeves

Jamie Lea Reeves, 38, of Butlerville, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Jamie was born on July 19, 1983, in Seymour. She was the daughter of James and Kimberly (Lee) Reeves. Jamie was engaged to her fiancé, George Smith.

Jamie was a 2001 graduate of Jennings County High School and worked in the office at P&Y Farms in Butlerville, and Stream Cliff Farms in Commiskey. She enjoyed being in the water, collecting rocks, flowers, camping, campfires, and dogs.

Survivors include her sons, Dustin Tungate, Dawson Tungate and Devin Tungate, all of Butlerville; parents, Jim and Kim Reeves of North Vernon; fiancé, George Smith of Butlerville; sister, Jennifer (Charles) Rockey of Columbus; and grandfather, Joe Lee of Butlerville.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tom and Jane Reeves and Beverly Lee and cousin, Kristina Everroad.

A funeral service for Jamie will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Visitation for family and friends will be 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2022, and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Graham Baptist Cemetery in Butlerville.

Memorials may be made in honor of Jamie through the funeral home for expenses.
