Jeffrey Lee Summerlott

Jeffrey Lee Summerlott, 58, of North Vernon, passed away, at his home surrounded by family and friends, at 8:42 p.m. on Monday, April 5, 2021.

Born August 18, 1962, in LaPorte, he was the son of Alfred and Sally (Lowry) Summerlott.

Jeffrey was a 1981 graduate of Jennings County High School and worked 19 years for Jennings County High School as a custodian. He had previously worked for AISIN in Seymour and Erler’s Industries in North Vernon. Jeffrey enjoyed going to yard sales.

Survivors include his daughter, Sally (Todd) Wilson of Sellersburg; stepchildren, David Summerlott of Indianapolis and Tanisha (Chris) Lathan of Sellersburg; brothers, Alan Summerlott of Vernon, Douglas Summerlott of North Vernon and Mark Summerlott of Ft. Meyers, Florida; sisters, Carla (Gary Callahan) Cartwright of North Vernon and Karaminae Luenebrink of Columbus; grandchild, Cohen Andrew Wilson of Sellersburg; and several nieces and nephews.   

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandchildren, Jace and Jensen Wilson and stepfather, Jon Dickson.

No services will be held at this time. Private burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

Memorials may be made in honor of Jeffrey through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana.
