Jenny Lynn (Burchfield) Ball

Jenny Lynn Ball, 60, of Coatesville, passed away at 9:41 p.m. on Monday, September 4, 2023, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born December 10, 1962, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Burl and Joann (Butters) Burchfield. She married Allen Ball on May 28, 1987, in North Vernon; he survives.

Jenny was a 1981 graduate of Jennings County High School and was a homemaker and housewife. Jenny enjoyed reading, watching murder mysteries, and playing games on her phone. She loved spending time with her family.

Surviving with her husband, Allen, are her son, A.J. Ball of Putnam County; daughters, Faith Riley of Seymour, Kyra (Jacob) Adams of Avon, and Amanda (Steve) Lewis of North Vernon; brothers, Russell (Trish) Burchfield of Greenwood, Michael (Mary) Burchfield of Westport, and Steve Burchfield of Columbus; grandchildren, Autumn Ball and Ethan Ball, both of Putnam County, Santana Tyler, Joseph Callaway, Brendan Nantz, and Elizabeth Anderson, all of Seymour, Delorice Nantz of Tennessee, Alexis Nantz, Johnny Adams,  Isaiah Lewis, Kian Lewis, Jackson Lewis, and Breanna Lewis,  all of North Vernon, Brysten Lamaster, Camdan Lamaster, Conner Adams, and Emma Adams, all of Avon, and Jake Adams, Logan Adams, and Sarah Adams, all of Indianapolis and Desiree Wisdom of Alabama; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Susie Burchfield and Jeri Franks.

A funeral service for Jenny will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the Dove- Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Dan Corbin officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Friday, September 8, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be in the Dupont Cemetery in Dupont.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Jenny to the American Heart Association.
