Jeremy Michael “Lil J” Jones Jr., 25, of Jonesville, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020, at Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg.
Born April 28, 1995, in Seymour, he was the son of Jeremy Jones Sr. and Bobbie Palmer.
Jeremy attended Jennings County High School and went on to work for the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon for two years and for No Limit Painting and Construction in North Vernon for three years. He loved the woods, creeks, being outdoors, and rock hunting.
He is survived by his parents, Jeremy Jones Sr. of Jennings County and Bobbie Palmer of Jonesville; brothers, Jacob Jones of Edinburgh and Brandon McGuire of North Vernon; sister, Kayla Roman of North Vernon; grandmother, Kathy (Dave) Sampson of North Vernon; and uncles, Josh (Leah Euler-Jones) Jones of North Vernon and Travis Palmer of Dupont.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Deborah Pike and Bobby Palmer.
A funeral service for Jeremy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Dove-Sharp and Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with Rev. Kent Stroud officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in Jeremy’s honor to Muscatatuck Park.
