Jerry Maddox, 72, of North Vernon, passed away at 2:27 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at his residence.
Born June 14, 1949, in Middlesboro, Kentucky, he was the son of the late John and Susie (Hensley) Maddox. He married Analiza (Camilo) Maddox on July 6, 2000, in Bedford, Kentucky; she survives.
Jerry enjoyed working on cars and watching W.W. E. He loved spending time with his family and his best friends.
Surviving with his wife, Analiza, are his daughters, Christine Maddox (Anthony Schorle), Anita Maddox (Patrick Sons), and Hollie (Daniel) Parish, all of North Vernon, and Linda (Joe) Miller of Seymour; brother, Tommy Kent, of Louisville, Kentucky; grandchildren, Karlie Ritchie, Kameron and Patience Schorle, Kiara and E.J. Walls, Kendal, Nola and Shadyn Sons, Zoey and Madison Miller and Danny Parish; great-grandchildren, Savanna and Colton Warner, Gracie Kuhfahl, Graclyn, Rayah and Zaeliey Spaulding, Atlas Walls and Elliot Miller; sister in law, Janice Camilo of Louisville, Kentucky; and best friends, Raymond Kidwell and Anna Yates, both of North Vernon.
He was preceded by death by his parents; siblings, Oscar Hensley, Mary Lou Campbell and twin brother, Gary Maddox; grandchild, Savanna; and great-grandchild, Zayden Miller.
A funeral service for Jerry will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
Memorials may be made in honor of Jerry through the funeral home for expenses.
