Joseph Harlan Giddens Jr.

Joseph Harlan Giddens Jr., 52, of Westport, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019, at his residence.

Born June 20, 1966, in Indianapolis, Joseph was the son of Joseph H. Giddens Sr., and Linda Large Giddens.

Joseph worked as a design engineer for R&M Tool and Engineering, Decatur Mold and Injection Mold, all in North Vernon. He enjoyed playing guitar and all things music related items, but he especially enjoyed helping people in need.

He is survived by his son, Joseph “Ty” (Madeline) Giddens of Bargersville; parents, Joe and Linda Giddens of North Vernon; grandson, Garrick Giddens of Bargersville; brother, Bob (Stephanie) Giddens of North Vernon; and sisters, Kay (Darryl) Frick of Ferdinand and Kelley Giddens of North Vernon.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Mercy Rescue and Adoption Inc.
