Joseph Wesley Miller

Joseph Wesley Miller, 45, of Seymour, passed away at 9:35 p.m. on Monday, December 5, 2022, at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus.

Born May 11, 1977, in Seymour, he was the son of Jerry and Leah (Maxwell) Miller. He married Linda Maddox on February 24, 2005, in Vernon; she survives.

Joseph was a 1995 graduate of Jennings County High School and worked for Res-Care for three years. He previously worked clerical for St. Vincent Jennings Hospital and was a EMT and Firefighter for Jennings County. Joseph also loved music and was a DJ. He enjoyed music, watching softball, wrestling and the Chicago PD Show.

Surviving with his wife, Linda, are his daughters, Zoey Miller and Madison Miller, both of Seymour; brother, John (Pam) Miller of Butlerville; and grandchild, Elliot Miller of Seymour.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Miller; stepdaughter, Savanna Miller; and grandchild, Zayden Miller.

A funeral for Joseph will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday.

Memorials may be made in honor of Joseph through the funeral home for expenses.
