Joshua White Obituary

Joshua Everett White, 37, of North Vernon, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Born on May 29, 1985, in Seymour, he was the son of Phillip Lee White Jr. and Denise Tomblin Frazer. He married Jennifer K. White; she survives.

Joshua served in the U.S. Navy from 2003 until 2005. He worked at Hardees and Erler’s Industries, both in North Vernon. Joshua enjoyed painting, playing video games and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include parents, Phillip (Kim Phelps) White of Austin and Denise (John Hargesheimer) Frazer of North Vernon; his wife, Jennifer White of North Vernon; son, Benjamin White of North Vernon; daughters, Rayne White and Leslie White, both of North Vernon; brothers, Andrew (Chelsie) White of Mentone and Shaun (Alyssa) Dixon of North Vernon; sister, Hannah (Kenneth) Surface of Mentone; and grandpa, William Tomblin of Kentucky.  

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A funeral service for Josh will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Visitation with family and friends will be 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday. Interment will be at a later date in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison.
