Justin Edward Ellerbrook

Justin Edward Ellerbrook, 43, of North Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at his residence.

Born April 26, 1981, in Columbus, he was the son of Linda Kay (Barber) Ellerbrook and the late Don Edward Ellerbrook.

Justin worked construction and was a member of The Worship Center in North Vernon. He enjoyed surfing, fishing and going to the Gym.

Survivors include his mother, Linda Ellerbrook of North Vernon; sister, Lori Dawn (Scott Vogel) Leahigh of North Vernon; nieces and nephews, Garrett (Morgan) Leahigh, Mary Leahigh and Benjamin Leahigh, all of North Vernon; grandfather, Albert (Becky) Ellerbrook of Columbus; and three great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Benny and Mary Barber and Harry and Betty Stewart.

A funeral service for Justin will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Dale Boyd officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at a later date in the Vernon Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Justin to The Worship Center or donor’s choice of organization.
