Keith Holder

Keith Holder, 60, of North Vernon, passed away at 3:32 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2024, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Born May 3, 1963, in Monticello, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Jesse Willard and Allene (Patrick) Holder. He married Donna Marie Palmer on July 12, 1982, in Vernon; she preceded him in death on August 17, 2023.

Keith worked for DSI (Developmental Services Inc.) and enjoyed mowing the grass.

He is survived by his brothers, Denzil (Lorrie) Holder of Clarksville, Harold “Doc” Holder of Hanover, Zelmer (Joann) Holder of Richmond, and Jeremy Holder and Mark Holder, both of Kentucky; his sisters, Debra (Marvin) Bell of Atlanta, Georgia, Sandy (Gary) Clark of Ohio, and Joanie (Travis Smith) Roark of Hanover; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and a brother, Carlos Holder; sister, Sherry Ricketts.

A funeral service for Keith will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.

Memorials may be made in honor of Keith through the funeral home for expenses.
