Kory Ray Fields

Kory Ray Fields, 32, of North Vernon, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022, at his residence.

Born March 11, 1990, in Columbus, he was the son of Paul Raymond Fields and Lori Jo Kimbler Fields.

Kory worked for NVIC in North Vernon and had previously worked for NTN Driveshaft in Columbus. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, whitewater rafting, watching football, collecting yo-yos and skateboarding.

Survivors include his sons, Kyler Fields, Kayden Fields and Konner Fields, all of Fairland; parents, Raymond Fields of Columbus and Lori Fields of North Vernon; stepdaughter, Hope Bell of Fairland; brother, Kelby Fields of Columbus; sister, Kasey (Matt) Ault of Columbus; and grandmothers, Connie Kimbler of North Vernon and Carol Fields of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul H. Fields and Eugene “Gene” Kimbler and his uncle, Aaron Fields.

A celebration of life is planned for Kory on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Muscatatuck County Park Shelter House #5 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.

Memorials may be made in honor of Kory through the funeral home for expenses.
