Krista Lynn (McCrory) Klescht

Krista Lynn Klescht, 64, of Butlerville, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021, at Franciscan St. Francis Health Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born January 23, 1957, in Seymour, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Francis McCrory Sr. and Joanna Rosalie (Beach) McNulty. She married Paul Klescht Sr. on June 27, 1976, in Nebraska, Indiana; he survives.

Krista was a 1976 graduate of Jennings County High School and was an ordained minister and homemaker/housewife. She enjoyed working in her garden, growing flowers, sewing, studying the Bible, and spending time with her grandkids.

Surviving with her husband, Paul Klescht of Butlerville, are her sons, Andrew (Shana) Klescht and Paul Klescht Jr., both of North Vernon; her daughter, Jessica (Vincent) Kieffer of Versailles; brothers, Larry McCrory of Versailles, Jeffrey McCrory of Holton, Kevin McCrory Sr. and Kelly McCrory, both of North Vernon, Clyde McCrory of North Vernon and Clifford McCrory of Arizona; sister, Kimberly (Jeff) England of North Vernon; and  grandchildren, Alex Kieffer and Abby Kieffer, both of Versailles, and Shelby Klescht and Elijah Klescht, both of North Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her father; her mother; stepfather, Robert McNulty; and brother, Michael F. McCrory Sr.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in the Otter Creek Cemetery in Jennings County.

Memorials may be made in honor of Krista through the funeral home to the Special Olympics in Ripley, Ohio, and Dearborn Counties.
