Laikyn Jo Hughes

Our cherished baby girl, Laikyn Jo Hughes, was given to us on December 4, 2025, and her life ended far too soon on March 8, 2026. While our hearts are broken by her passing, we are forever grateful for the precious time we were blessed to have with her.

Laikyn was a true little angel and a beautiful bundle of joy who brought immeasurable love into our family. From the moment she arrived, she filled our days with wonder, warmth, and happiness as we watched her grow and discover the world around her.

Though her life was brief, it was filled to the brim with love, kisses, cuddles, smiles, laughter, and excitement. Laikyn was a bright, happy, and beautiful baby girl whose sweet expressions and joyful spirit could light up any room. She was deeply loved, treasured, and cared for every single day of her life.

Laikyn shared a beautiful and unbreakable bond with her mother, Lauren Mull Hughes, whose arms, voice, and love were her greatest comfort. She was also lovingly adored by her big sister, Lennon Grace Hughes, who brought her smiles and will forever carry her little sister in her heart.

Laikyn is survived by her loving mother, Lauren Mull Hughes; her father, Trenton Hughes; and her beloved sister, Lennon Grace Hughes. She is also survived by her great-great-grandfather, Robert Taylor; her great-grandmother, Kylia Jo Mull; her great-grandparents, Ron and Valerie Euler; her great-grandparents, Charles and Mary Weber; her grandparents, Matthew and Lori Mull; David Hughes, & Denton & Angie Waller & her loving aunts, Cassidy and Megan Mull, and uncle, Stone Mull.

Though we were only able to hold Laikyn in our arms for a short time, she will be loved and treasured for the rest of our lives. Her tiny footprints and the love she brought into our world will remain in our hearts forever.

Services will be held at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m.  where family and friends are invited to gather to remember and celebrate the precious life of Laikyn Jo Hughes.

Memorials may be made in honor of Laikyn through the funeral home to the family for the a Memorial Bench.
