Lane Matthew Luhn

Lane Matthew Luhn, 29, of Scipio, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025, at his residence.

Born February 7, 1996, in Bartholomew County, Lane was the son of Jerry Luhn of Florida and Myra Luhn, Scipio.

Lane was an employee of Superior Drywall in Columbus and a 2014 graduate of Jennings County High School where he was a member of the wrestling team. In his spare time, Lane enjoyed golfing, being a dad, listening to music, and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Lane is survived by  a daughter, Lynnyxx Luhn, of Scipio; sisters, Ashlee Luhn and Jessica (Jeremy) Fields, both of Columbus, and Shelby (Daniel) Vogel of North Vernon; stepsister, Samantha (Quincy Hayes) Kaur of Greencastle; brothers, Shane (Brittany) Luhn of Columbus and Jordan Gray of North Vernon; stepbrother, Logan (Callie) Allen of Bloomington; grandmother, Wilda Mings, of Scipio; nieces, Kylee (Avery Hill) Marling, Jaylynn Fields, Baylee Fields, and Arydessa Gray, all of Columbus; nephews, Ian Fields and Lindel Gray, both of Columbus, and Lincoln Vogel and Maverick Vogel, both of North Vernon.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Bill Mings and James and Linda Luhn Sr.

Services for Lane will be Saturday, June 14, at 1 p.m. at Queensville Community Church with Rev. Gerald Caudill officiating. Burial will be at Bear Creek (Tri County) cemetery next to his grandfather, Bill Mings. Visitation will be Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 10 a.m. until time of services.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home for expenses.
