Leigh-ann Junnette Mitchell, 39, of North Vernon, passed away at 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, in North Vernon.
Born July 6, 1984, in Madison, she was the daughter of the late Elbert Mitchell and Delores Purdue.
Leigh-ann worked for a pawn shop in North Vernon and had previously worked for Erler’s Industries in North Vernon. She enjoyed fishing, campfires, and hanging out with friends.
She is survived by sons, Allen Dean of Seymour and Blayne Mitchell of North Vernon; daughters, Leighann (Hannah) Sanson-Downs of Lexington, Kentucky, and Destiny Radley of Bloomington; sister, Pamela Mitchell of North Vernon; grandchildren, Aleah Sanson-Downs of Lexington, Kentucky and Oliver Dean of Seymour.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Elbert Wayne Mitchell II; and granddaughter, Nova Radley.
In keeping with her and her family’s wishes, cremation is planned with no services to be held at this time. Arrangements were in care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon.
Memorials may be made in honor of Leigh-ann through the funeral home for expenses.
