Leila Snyder Obituary

Leila Kai Snyder was born sleeping on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 4:12am. She weighed 1lb 7.2oz and had the most beautiful features including dark hair, a perfect nose, and 10 tiny fingers and toes. Leila was the daughter of Neil and Megan Snyder and little sister to Naomi.

Leila's mommy had the honor and privilege of carrying her for 27 weeks and 4 days. In that time, while in her mommy's tummy and along with her family, Leila celebrated the birth of Jesus at Christmas, was on stage in a play with the Jennings County Players, attended Vernon Baptist Church nearly every week for Sunday School, church services, and AWANAs, sang to Jesus with the church choir, snorkeled and swam in the ocean, listened to silly songs and stories at pre-school, and attended her big sister's dance recitals, soccer games, and birthday party. Every single day, Leila heard the loving voices of her mommy, her daddy, her big sister, and her extended family. When she opened her eyes, the first face she saw was Jesus.

"Because He lives, I can face tomorrow

Because He lives, all fear is gone

Because I know He holds the future

And life is worth the living just because He lives"
