Lisa Ann Abplanalp

Lisa Ann Abplanalp, 53, of Greensburg, passed away at 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Community Hospital South in Greenwood.

Born April 2, 1970, in Madison, she was the daughter of the late George Irving and Linda Sue (Jackson) Abplanalp.

She graduated from high school in Madison and went on to work for the former Muscatatuck State Developmental Center in Butlerville and Grote in Madison. Lisa loved to play pool and listen to music.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff (Sarah) Gilstrap of Madison and Seth Lake of Salem; brothers, Greg (Mary) Abplanalp of Commiskey and Steven Abplanalp of North Vernon; grandchildren, Jaxson, Jeffrey, and Bellamy Gillstrap and Evan and Lyla Gordon, all of Madison; and companion, Ron Sproles of Greensburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Abplanalp.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon was entrusted to the care of these arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home in honor of Lisa to help with expenses.
