Lisa Irene (Reynolds) Clymer

Lisa Irene (Reynolds) Clymer, 56, of North Vernon, passed away at 5:36 p.m. on July 30, 2024, at Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus.

She was born on January 27, 1968, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour to Paul Reynolds Sr. and Marilyn (Howell) Reynolds. She graduated from Milan High School in 1986. She married Lonnie Clymer on June 19, 1998, in Vernon. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2015.

Lisa was a 1986 graduate of Milan High School. When she was younger, she spent a lot of time with Gramma Reynolds. She was a graduate of the first Candy Striper Class of Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville. Lisa had enormous number of jobs, three of her favorites were Dispatcher and First Responder at Rescue 69, working at Jennings Villas Children’s Home and Indiana Mentor.

Lisa loved babysitting, playing Euchre and Bingo, going to casinos, numerous other games. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She never knew a stranger.

She is survived by her brother, Paul (Tasha) Reynolds Jr. of Milan; sisters, Margret Rose (Larry) Ashpaugh, Pauline (Lewis) Pate, and Leona Ellis; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and best friend, Tommie VanDyne.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her childhood best friends, Lori Doane and Ellen Stiver.

The funeral for Lisa will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Jack Bible officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. Burial will follow in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon.

Memorials may be made in honor of Lisa through the funeral home for expenses.
