Lisa Dawn Rayburn

Lisa Dawn Rayburn, 51, of North Vernon, passed away at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at her residence.

Born on January 22, 1972, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Phillip and Trudy (Bowling) Rayburn.

Lisa was a 1990 graduate of Jennings County High School and worked in Home Health care for twenty plus years, most recently working for Help at Home for two years. She was a member of Am Vets Post #7 in North Vernon and a former member of Moose Lodge. Lisa enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, mushroom hunting. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Jacob (Kenneth McGraw) Ramey of Indianapolis, and Clayten (Kathleen) Lacey of North Vernon; brother, Tom (Jennifer) Rayburn of North Vernon; sister, Amanda (Zach) Johnson of North Vernon; grandchildren, Ginevira Lacey and Valerica Lacey, both of North Vernon and stepmother, Carolyn Rayburn..

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In keeping with her and her family’s wishes, cremation is planned with a Celebration of Life at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Trinity Full Gospel Church in North Vernon with Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Lisa the Calli Nature Endowment through the Jennings County Community Foundation.
