Lisa Rene (Rice) Souders

Lisa Rene Souders, 61, of North Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Born September 14, 1962, in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late William and Virginia (Maskel) Rice. She married James Souders on December 30, 1992, in North Vernon; he survives.

Lisa was a line worker for Martinrea/Pilot for eleven years. She loved farm animals and gardening.

She is survived by her husband; her sons, James Eric Souders of Bedford, John Michael (Tracy) Souders of Cloverdale, and Chris Rice of Beech Grove; brothers, Keith (Tammy) Rice and Kevin Rice; sister, Teresa Bott of Louisiana; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

In keeping with her and her family’s wishes, cremation is planned with no services to be held at this time.
