Lorraine Davenport, 82, of North Vernon, passed away at 1:13 p.m. at Majestic Care in North Vernon on Saturday, January 25, 2020.
Born December 3, 1937, in Busy, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Isabel (Engle) Campbell.
Lorraine was a member of the Anointed Word of Life Church in Tennessee and the New Beginnings Church of God in Seymour. She enjoyed watching movies, doing word searches, making jewelry, thrift store shopping, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Mike (Barb) Williamson of Minnesota; daughters, Peggy (Tony) Hendricks of Tennessee and Sandy (Earnest) Campbell of North Vernon; grandchildren, Richard Williamson of Minnesota, Sean Williamson of Oklahoma, Zach Payton of Ohio, Jeremy Hendricks, Melisa Zamorano, Jennifer Hernandez, and Joshua Hendricks, all of Tennessee, Earnest Campbell III of Ohio, Amanda Hadley and Brad Campbell, both of North Vernon, and Judy Schwake of Crothersville; and great-grandchildren, Josiah, Dykota, RJ, Jeremiah, Lauryn, Alayha, Avaya, Rebekah, Violet, Isabel, Jasmine, Daniel, Artie, Isaiah, Obadiah, Gracie, Earnest IV, Mallorie, Greyson, Brooklynn, Natalie, Jacob, Adam, Luke, Elijah, and Gideon.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, nine brothers and sisters, and granddaughter Ashley Chester.
A funeral service for Lorraine will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in North Vernon.
Memorials may be made in Lorraine’s honor through the funeral home to help cover expenses.
