Margaret Elizabeth (Littrell) Euler

Margaret Elizabeth Euler, 95, of North Vernon, passed away at 8:10 a.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at Silver Oaks Health Campus in Columbus.

Born June 19, 1923, in Versailles, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Bluford and Lou Ann (Cole) Littrell. She married Robert Euler on June 3, 1944, in Liberal, Kansas; he preceded her in death on April 23, 2005.

Mrs. Euler was a 1942 graduate of the North Vernon High School and worked as secretary for Tempest Tool and Die in Hayden, retiring in 2000, and as a teacher’s assistant for Hayden Elementary School for nine years. She was a charter member of the Hayden Baptist Church for over 50 years, a member of the Hayden Chapter #253, Order of the Eastern Star, Four Corners Home Economic Club and Hayden Missionary Circle. Mrs. Euler enjoyed being a homemaker and housewife, cooking for her family, and enjoying her grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Glen (Shari) Euler of Columbus and Benet “Ben” (LaVon) Euler of Martinsville; brother, Albert Littrell of Niceville, Florida; grandchildren, Karen (Robert) Euler Ellis and Kelly (Brian) Euler Butler, both of Fishers; great-grandchildren, Allison Ellis, Emily Ellis, Robert “Robby” Butler and Megan Butler, all of Fishers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Michael Dan Euler; brothers, Hugh, William and Joseph Littrell; and sister, Frances Shinabarger.

A funeral service for Mrs. Euler will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hayden Baptist Church or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
