Marion Lucy (Dexter) Tabor

Marion Lucy Tabor, 96, of North Vernon, passed away at 6:18 a.m. on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Majestic Care of North Vernon.

Born February 13, 1926, in Topsham, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Rena (Bridge) Dexter. She married Edward Tabor in May of 1982, in Auburndale, Florida; he preceded her in death on August 8, 2006.

Marion worked for Tabor Service Lawn Care Company in Florida and picked fruit in Florida. She was a member of the Dundee Baptist Church in Dundee, Florida. Marion enjoyed reading, sewing, and taking walks.

Survivors include her children, Eugene (Gloria) Records of Autryville, North Carolina, Wayne Records of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ron (Susie) Dexter of Knoxville, Tennessee, Stuart (Bonita) Records of Columbus, Roy (Oveda) Records, Pauline (Lyndol) Webster, and Annette Records, all of North Vernon; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers; three sisters; and two grandchildren.

In keeping with her and her family’s wishes, cremation is planned with no service to be held at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon.

Memorials may be made in honor of Marion through the funeral home to donor’s choice of organization.
